Over at FanBolt we recently spoke to director Jenni Gold about her documentary CinemAbility which shed light on the lack of representation for handicapped actors in Hollywood. It was an eye-opening experience into the atmosphere the entertainment industry has created that not only misrepresents disabilities on screen, but the culture it creates which keeps handicapped actors from pursuing a career. One of those actors interview was Kevin Sorbo, who had a role in Soul Surfer, a the tale of a surfer who lost her arm in a shark attack (Bethany Hamilton).
Mr. Sorbo and I spoke about the movie industry and quite a bit about politics. Due to FanBolt not being a political site, I decided to host the interview here on Syxx Sense Media.
CinemAbility is available on iTunes, GooglePlay, and Amazon.
